Murakami Meal Service has been providing boxed meal delivery services in the Kansai region for about half a century. Based on our experience and achievements accumulated over the years, we have earned the trust of many customers by placing the highest priority on safe and secure lunch box delivery.

Consistent quality control system

We have established a consistent safety management system throughout the entire process of procurement, production, and delivery, from the selection of ingredients to delivery to our customers. We have established specialized departments within the company, such as the Manufacturing Department, Logistics Department, and Purchasing Department, and the Quality Assurance Office oversees the quality control of each department, thereby ensuring thorough safety.

HACCP-compliant manufacturing control

Our boxed lunch production complies with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), an international food safety management system. We have introduced a sanitation management method that continuously monitors and records critical points to prevent the occurrence of hazards in all food processes from receiving raw materials to manufacturing and shipping, and each process is classified into general control items and critical control items to ensure thorough risk management. In addition, we implement strict shipping judgment and ship only those boxed lunches that meet all standards.

Thorough hygiene management system

Conducting bacteria tests

In addition to our own inspections, our lunch boxes are regularly inspected for bacteria by an outside inspection agency to ensure safety through a double check system.

Organizing hygiene workshops

We hold regular hygiene seminars for all employees. The courses cover a wide range of topics, from basic hygiene management to seasonal food poisoning prevention measures, allergen management, and analysis of past food poisoning accident cases, in an effort to ensure that all employees have a common knowledge of hygiene.

Continuous improvement through QC meetings

We hold weekly quality control meetings with members selected from each department to discuss quality and hygiene throughout the company on an ongoing basis. Through these meetings, we promote efforts to strengthen risk management and improve quality.

Menu design by nutritionist

In-house dietitians are in charge of preparing menus for our boxed lunches. We propose menus with a well-balanced combination of meat, fish, and vegetables, with an emphasis on nutritional balance in consideration of the health of our customers. We also devise cooking methods and seasonings so that customers can enjoy foods they may not like, and ensure that they can efficiently consume a variety of nutrients through daily menu changes.

Harmony of tradition and innovation

While placing the utmost priority on safety, we carefully maintain basic cooking techniques and at the same time actively adopt new ideas to meet the needs of the times. This approach has enabled us to create a wide variety of bento lunches that can be enjoyed every day without ever getting boring.
